Vintage leaf plate made in Portugal

A typical Caldas da Rainha plate.

This portguese city is well known for its glazed ceramic pottery since the end of the 19th century, such as "green cabbage" items.

This leaf is variation of the traditional "green cabbage".

A think it´s from the 1930 or less because it belonged to my great-grandmother.

It´s handpainted and numbered.

A set of 2 flower decorative bowls

So nice this glass set of 2 flower decorative bowls!

You can use with a tea candle for decoration or separated to put candies or appetisers.

Definitely an allusion to flower power!

Why by Vintage?

- Since the early 1990s, there has also been an increasing interest in environmental sustainability in terms of reusing, recycling and repairing rather than throwing things away;

- Style and cultural movements tend to value the past era;

-Unique or almost unique: most items were custom made, and others were manufactured in small quantities only;

- Detailing: hand finishing, unusual buttons, hand embroidery, handmade lace, crochet, applique, beading and other techniques;

- Good qualitie, fine materials;

- Almost always a nice price!
